Jamie Foehr is a published professional Interior Designer with 18 years of experience in Design & Architecture. Originally from Northern California and now a resident of Salem, Jamie is the Founder and Creative Director of interior design firm Carry On Design Co. She is the Director of Communications for American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Oregon Chapter and NCIDQ eligible to become a certified interior designer. Jamie completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts- Interior Design and Architecture in Spring 2010. 

While working full-time, interning with Sacramento Building Review in the Historic Preservation Department (2008), dedicating two years to the student senate, ASID Student Member, IIDA Student Member, and on campus student mentor. Studying abroad in London UK, earning a work visa, degree internship with International Hospitality Design Firm Grapes Design (2009), while completing three program courses- Universal Design, Exhibition Design, and Project Portfolio Review. Soon after graduating Jamie moved to San Francisco where she worked in various roles in the luxury design industry. Design Associate and Residential Trade Sales for high-end furniture showroom in the Marina, SF. 

Traveling extensively abroad, while taking on independent work for design firms in the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento. Ultimately led Jamie back to Sacramento in 2016 where she started expanding more into Commercial Design. Working for a contract furniture dealer as space planner and designer, attending Steelcase Headquarter Conference in Grand Rapids MI, completing CET/Configura certification, and being a part of large projects within the medical, real estate, and warehousing divisions.

Carry On Design Co. established in 2020, designs and project manages residential and commercial projects throughout the west coast. Offering our clients collaboration and expertise no matter the scope. With preservation and reuse at the core of everything we do, Jamie has joined Restore Oregon. Her firm specializes in sustainable, yet approachable design. Creating personalized spaces rooted in story and intentionality. Inspired by travel, nature, and genuine human connection.
